Welcome to the website for the 33rd Gibbs Conference on Biothermodynamics (Gibbs33). The 2019 iteration of the Gibbs Conference will be held from October 5 to October 8<\/strong>\u00a0at the Touch of Nature Conference Center<\/a> in Carbondale, IL. The conference will focus on the energetics, dynamics, and interactions of biological macromolecules. As always, we expect a great meeting and welcome your active participation!<\/p>\n

Participation in the Gibbs conference is is a two-step process. Individuals wishing to participate should fill out an application\u00a0here<\/a>. The application process involves submitting your contact information<\/strong> and a preliminary abstract<\/strong>. Application preference is given to those who submit an abstract for a poster or oral presentation. Accepted applicants are then asked to register at a later time. This two-step process is necessary due to recent conference oversubscription.<\/p>\n

Applications<\/a> are open for submission until Friday, June 28, 2019. Check out the Important Dates<\/a> tab for more information.<\/p>\n

All participants are expected to read and agree to the Code of Conduct<\/a>\u00a0and Confidentiality Statement<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n
