Welcome to the website for the 33rd Gibbs Conference on Biothermodynamics (Gibbs33). The 2019 iteration of the Gibbs Conference will be held from October 5 to October 8 at the Touch of Nature Conference Center in Carbondale, IL. The conference will focus on the energetics, dynamics, and interactions of biological macromolecules. As always, we expect a great meeting and welcome your active participation!
Participation in the Gibbs conference is is a two-step process. Individuals wishing to participate should fill out an application here. The application process involves submitting your contact information and a preliminary abstract. Application preference is given to those who submit an abstract for a poster or oral presentation. Accepted applicants are then asked to register at a later time. This two-step process is necessary due to recent conference oversubscription.
Applications are open for submission until Friday, June 28, 2019. Check out the Important Dates tab for more information.
All participants are expected to read and agree to the Code of Conduct and Confidentiality Statement.
If you have any questions about the meeting, please contact one of the organizers, Matt Auton or Carlos Castañeda.
