Our paper on the phase transitions of UBQLN1, UBQLN2, UBQLN4 to is published in Biophys J.

We are very excited to share our surprising findings that the charge states of short intrinsically disordered regions UBQLN1, UBQLN2 and UBQLN4 greatly affect the phase transitions of these proteins. Because of this, addition of commonly used charged epitope tags also leads to changes in the phase transitions of UBQLNs. Our study has significant implications to in-cell studies of tagged UBQLNs.
